MY BACKGROUND
I have a passion for cultivating diverse talent pools, spearheading inclusive company culture innovation, and leading people development initiatives. I recently relocated back to my home state of Rhode Island after a decade of living in NYC working for two different NYC Government initiatives. In these positions, I led professional development programming and then trained and sourced tech talent into the innovation sector.
After my work in government, I launched my talent development consulting business, ShaynaLee Coaching. In this role, I deliver learning solutions to help grow businesses. I also offer career development coaching strategies that transform professionals into better, more fulfilled performers and leaders. I moonlight as an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Continuing Education at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.
I earned my BA of Cultural Anthropology at Rhode Island College and my Masters in Political Science/Public Administration at the University of Rhode Island.

MY STYLE
I am an improv maven with an extroverted personality. Connecting with people and being able to relate to or empathize with their unique needs is the cornerstone of my personality. Part of being a good educator is my ability to swiftly identify the learning styles and communication preferences of my audience. This expertise is a great asset for communicating with teams because I have learned how to drill down complex information into succinct and actionable plans across departments.
Deeply passionate about cultivating workplaces that motivate and inspire professionals to grow both personally and professionally, I foster team comradery and professional engagement so employees feel valued and fulfilled in the workplace. When people feel that they are trusted, empowered and challenged to innovate and participate, they perform at higher levels which accelerates the growth of a business.

As a genuine “salt of the earth” type of person who connects with people through humor, authenticity and honesty, I help professionals and leaders discover their true passion and purpose and then coach them through career and business transformations.
