Social Media Manager Intern Position
About the role:
I am looking to hire a Social Media Manager Intern (some front end design experience a bonus). The preferred candidate is a college student that needs to fulfill special project credit for a course/internship. Ideal for an individual with skills and passion but limited professional experience. This is an opportunity to build your professional profile and demonstrate your ability to meet social media management deliverables for a business. You can add this experience to your resume which will give you an advantage as a new grad entering into the workforce.
My budget for salary is very limited but I can offer some walk around money (per hrs spent on the project). Once agreed upon deliverables are met I am also offering FREE premium career coaching services as payment for the work you completed for my business. These premium services include, coaching on best practice resume development (including on how to present your achievements at my business on your resume and LinkedIn), cover letter writing, networking strategies and interview skills. Responsibilities:
- Spend at minimum 5 hours a week, engaging with followers and connections on numerous social media accounts for the business.
- Compile a summary of relevant topics and posts for me to respond to or comment on and manage all my correspondence.
- Assist in the development of social media engagement strategies with target market.
- Ensure social media page layout and content is aligned with best practice SM engagement.
Deliverables:
- Increase traffic to all social media pages
- Consistent and thorough Social Media Management results in professional opportunities for business, client leads and program enrollments
- Additional expectations discussed at the onset of the project
Qualifications:
- Broad skill and understanding re: social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Interest in and passion for social media. Possibly wants to pursue a full-time career in this field and needs entry level experience before entering into the job market.
